Synopsis

During the summer of 2018, at the Fire Island home of an entertainment powerhouse, five former AIDS activists gather to scatter the ashes of a fellow activist who’s died. Twenty-five years earlier, the face of the group, suddenly and mysteriously left and, in the intervening years, no one has had contact with him. His unexpected arrival revives old friendships but also unresolved resentments - all of which lead to the shattering revelation explaining his decades-long disappearance, why he’s finally returned, and the personal consequences he’s forced to face.
